A New Year....

I can't believe how fast 2010 has gone, it feels like a blur! It has been such a great year!! I know I'm always saying this, but I absolutely love what I do and am so grateful for all of my wonderful clients. I have had so much fun getting to know so many people and also being able to see so many returning customers. In order to do the quality of work that I expect of myself and for you, it requires me to spend alot of time away from my family life. I feel as though I need to make some small price changes in order to equal the hard work, time, and money I put into my business and still feel like I am being fair to my clients. Here are a few more from Ellen's senior session. It has taken me forever to finish these with the rush of the holiday season. I love them all though, she is so pretty and natural in front of the camera.

Kona, coke, & a really old bicycle

So I've been in Kona for the last 10 days (bad timing..I know). I tried really hard to stay up late like I do at home, but it just was not working out with the time change. But I actually got a lot of work done while there...I think I'm finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel! It was so good to get away for awhile. Now that I'm home, I will be dedicating the next 2 weeks to finishing up all my senior sessions.

My sister's usually don't get their pictures for at least 6 months, but because Amber was sitting near me on the plane and little Nixon Rome was looking over the seat at me with his big blue eyes, I just had to do a few more of them! I had some ideas I had been wanting to try so I talked Amber into it. We needed to get some 6 month shots of Nixon anyway, and lets face it, they are both pretty easy on the eyes!

Laken

Laken is such a beautiful baby girl. I love her hair and her perfect little face. Can't wait to meet the rest of her family soon.

The Timothy's

I like to call these guys my "hot family"... no explanation needed. Lorren is such a sweetheart and so much fun. I love being able to do their photos every year.

I had computer problems last week (I'll spare you the details), but am more behind than ever! So thank you to all those who are waiting (like 25 sessions?) so patiently! Especially the newborn sessions...I really hate running behind on those. Eventually, I will get my blog finished (finally) and get caught up on editing! Although sometimes I feel like I am going crazy and there are never enough hours in the day, I absolutely love what I do and wouldn't change it for the world. Have a good weekend!

The Birchell Family

I had a lot of fun with this family. Hadley is the cutest little girl. I think Emily and I instantly connected because we both understand all too well how to deal with the best of the two year olds!

Ryan, Candace, & Savannah

I absolutely love the location of Ryan and Candace's shoot. What a perfect family and could Savannah be any cuter? I'm so excited for their new addition coming soon.

Jimmy, Amelia, Evan, & Ellie

Its so fun to watch the twins together, they are getting so grown up! I love being able to do Jimmy and Amelia's family photos every year....they are such a beautiful family, they always turn out amazing!

Lucy

Lucy was so tiny and sleepy, I loved every minute with her!

Kelsey

Kelsey is a a natural born model. I can't wait to work on the rest of her session, just wanted to post one for now.

The Haase Family

I was so happy with all the great shots we got with this family. Sometimes you never know what you are going to get with a one year old but she did so good. I could tell Dave was ready to leave about the time we were doing a shot of the family walking and he headed to the truck! That is what we get for scheduling family pictures on flag football night...haha.

AND, thank you to all of those who check my blog and leave comments even though I do not post as much as I should. I have had to choose editing over posting lately because I have pretty busy, but will try to get back on track soon.
